Thanks, cannot afford Enve but will check cross sectional profile.
Also depends on what tyre you plan on using, for example I found GP4000 normally come up a mm or two bigger than say a Corsa in the same size on the same rim. I know they warned of people using Zipp 303s on SL4s due to potential for chain stay rubbing, they're 26.2mm at the brake track and bulge to just over 27mm I think, 404 are fine though.
Could focus your rim search onto wide but slightly narrower than Zipp, Enve etc options, FFWD are 22.4mm, Bora are 24mm etc.

303 wore quite deeply into the paint/top layer on my frame after one race. There are plenty of others you can use I'm sure, yeh. The Enve were fine, especially as the rear enve is narrower than the front.I know they warned of people using Zipp 303s on SL4s due to potential for chain stay rubbing, they're 26.2mm at the brake track and bulge to just over 27mm I think, 404 are fine though.

And no I wouldn't etiher............in my earlier reply, I said it's a perk of having a licence, and that's it........A perk. Not sponsorship..........A perk.
I’ve got to concur with Reynolds Awful response to side winds. Even 10mph gusts move them about quite unpleasantly. By contrast the Bora 50’s on my Bianchi might feel a gentle push but hardly noticeable. Will probably change them at some point for something better

I did find that adding wheel weights to balance them did help, but they were comical on a fairly windy ride I did. To the point where I thought I might actually come off the sodding thing, wind can't have been more than 15mph or so. And I've ridden disc/90mm TT bike in really quite windy conditions with fewer issues.Edited by oddball1313 on Saturday 20th January 09:38
They aren’t even big profile on the endurace, only 40mm. I’ll probably flog them on eBay and buy some better replacements. Don’t want to go as expensive as Enve or Campagnolo as it’s my winter, wet weather bike. Not sure how the Mavics, Shimano and others perform or cost but will have to do some research I guess
