Yup!

Was going to take it out for a ride today, but it's pissing it down outside and I'm not sure I fancy a couple of hours in the cold and wet!

Shoreham in the distance...normal service has been resumed...
There wasn't much wind around this morning but you wouldn't know it from this tree

Looking good! I'm tempted to save for a 40mm section front wheel for the slightly more windy days. Would it look a bit daft with a different front wheel to a rear wheel (eg zipp front wheel but Reynolds rear)!?

Would look ok if you removed any Zipp decals.

I’m not a fan of the look of the cosmics, think the decals are too big and bright - but I cannot be arsed to take them off!

Another one on ebay...........Wants £2.6k for bike, £600 for wheels. last seasons Ultegra

Offered him a reasonable (So I thought) 2.7k all in.

I got a "No, and it's the best bike ever, and Alex Dowsett is getting me a new one"

KK mate.

In fairness the chap has been completely open on the listing stating that he really does not need to sell it in any rush and will happily stick it on the wall...

So your offer of some £500 less than his asking price obviously isn't going to do the job!

In all seriousness though chap, you are obviously very keen to get on the Aeroad bandwagon and seemingly happy to splash serious cash on a used model. Instead of making low offers and then complaining about how the guys have declined on here just spend the money and get a brand spanker for £3199!

Went out for a quick 20 miler, first time riding in the wet (well, it wasn't raining but the roads were soaked.

Discs....so, so much better aren't they. Literally instant stopping power, absolutely no delay. I don't think they offer that much more outright stopping power, but they do bite instantly which is really, really reassuring.

Despite wearing full winter gear, getting blown about at the top of a hill and having to slow for some descents and a bit of traffic, I still got a 19.4mph average and wasn't exactly caning it. 20 miles/1200ft of climb...so not flat either. I reckon that would be around 18mph on my last bike.

Cat 1 Jew, looking at getting the best deal possible. Don't really need one, got a perfectly good race bike, however if the right one comes up, I'll have it.

Keep looking at that RCE website too, a lot of S5's come up on there.

I offered him £2500 and to collect the day after. And he turned it down.

WOW!

So if he's expecting bids, he needs to make £2750 for it, as he'll lose 10% going down correct ebay channels.

I don't think many people will want to pay higher than tha.

Been checking the canyon outlet regularly. Managed to purchase a red glow Aeroad di2 7.0 in medium with aero cockpit for £2300!

Well chuffed with that. May even mean I get to keep the ultimate too!
