I'm after a reliable saddle pack which just uses the rails and doesn't connect via the seat post. Doesnt need to be big - looking to store a tube, multitool, a couple of patches and a couple of spare chainlinks. Whats best recommended? Most I see have the velcro strap around the seatpost. My Topeak rubs my shorts or leggings at this point and causes wear so i'm trying to avoid anything similar.
I used one of these. I dont like saddle packs but in winter I like to carry 2 x tubes and 2 x bottles so my usual bottle holder caddy isnt enough for anything over a 3 hour non-stop ride..

I use one of those - get a tube, 2 levers, multi-tool & 2 co2 canisters in it. Perfect for most rides and is small enough not to notice. If I need a second tube I'll pocket it.http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/lezyne-road-cad...
My missus uses one of these https://fairwheelbikes.com/arundel-dual-seat-bag/ which nicely fits 2 tubes in
I have one of these. Can fit pump, multi tool, tyre levers, small bottle of lube, monies and emergency chocolate bars in. I like that it can unclip really easily. You can also fit a light on the back.

I've got the non-clip on version of this. http://www.wiggle.co.uk/topeak-aero-wedge-clip-on-...
I think I'll pick up a Lezyne or Scicon 350. By all accounts they can get a fair bit in for their size and whilst the Topeak is much bigger in volume, its a bit of a pain to pack it tightly so theres a fair bit wasted.
