Thought I would try my luck before 'pulling the trigger' rolleyes on a new bike and see if anyone has/knows any current discount codes?

Spending around £2K so a nice 10% would soften the blow a bit.

Have to buy from Wiggle or CRC as it's a Vitus.

There's a strip club in Portsmouth called Wiggle. This thread title gave me a little chuckle.

Sorry I can't be of much help... getmecoat

British Cycling members get one single-use 10%-off discount code per month for CRC - I gave my September one to my mate last week!
If you don't get one from anywhere else, hit me up 1st October, and if I don't need it myself you can have it.

British cycling members also get platinum at wiggle which is worth 12% unless something is already discounted, which it often is.. but for the 15 quid or whatever it is for BC, it's quite possibly worth it if purchasing a bike.

Thanks everyone.

A lot of these bike companies (particularly Wiggle) seem to 'discount' just about everything so then a lot of these additional offers tend not to applicable anyway.

The bike I'm looking at is an outgoing 2018 model so already has a 10% 'discount'

Will keep my ear to the ground.

Just to rub salt into my wounds, they've today reduced their discount from 10% to 7% crylaugh

What are they playing at?! Is there some kind of 'Friday feeling' strategy going on here? It's been 10% all week, but now it's back to 7%. Is Friday peak bike buying day? I'm expecting it to go back to at least 10% next week so will brave it out for now.

With wiggle, you'll get the greater discount. If it's 7% and you have platinum you'll get 12%.

Well, fk you chain reaction cycles.
As of 1st Oct, the discount for BC members has changed from "10% off spends of £99 or more" to "£10 off spends of £150 or more".
Buying a £2000 bike? It was £1,800 last month - its £1,990 this month!

Halfords offer has changed too - now its only valid on cycling related items (rather than everything), and you cant just flash your card in-store - you need to print off a voucher from the BC website which changes each month.

Just to draw a line under this thread from me, I swerved Wiggle and got what I thought was a great deal from Tredz in the end.

£2500 original RRP, it was discounted, and then I got a further 10% using a code, so paid around £1500, happy with that, great service, they phoned to organise delivery, arrived quick and well put together, no complaints.
