My first Road Bike was a Saracen, with a lot off to sell it. It's still going strong for my brother, but is too long and low for me.
When I replaced it I was considering a Cannondale or a Trek, for size more than anything. This was about 7 years ago, and Trek had their offering in stock, whilst Cannondale would be a few months, so I bought a Trek.
This week the frame broke, but there is a lifetime frame warranty. I'm not sure how it will play out, but I suspect it'll be a Trek again.
Although I really fancy a Canyon.

My best bike is a Cannondale Supersix, but I also have a Giant Defy Advanced, a Giant XTC and previously had a Giant Anthem.
I also have a a Boardman Pro 29er.
I voted Cannondale but the Supersix was very nearly a TCR and given my history of buying a giant bikes could easily have chosen them.
Would still love a Bianchi though........

I have a budget Planet X RT 58. Cost me £300 on one of their deals... It's used it for the odd 80+ mile ride and it's got me to the top of Mont Ventoux and Alp D'Heuz and it's played a huge part in me completing a few Triathlons.
It's a great bike, one that I can't image replacing... Unless I could afford a Van Nicholas.

Beacon for me..... most readers will say “ whoooooo” and that’s why.
The geometry works for me choice of frames, sort of British and unknown, 10,000 (ish) miles in the last 18months.
Tell me more. I've been looking at the BF80 one for a while, I'm off to see them next week, you pay slightly more than internet stores but I'm thinking a quality fit, test ride and follow up service is worth the price. The geometry works for me choice of frames, sort of British and unknown, 10,000 (ish) miles in the last 18months.
What groupset and wheels are you using?

I’ve got the BF80, went for my test day thinking I’d buy the 100but after test rides thought the 80 was a better fit. What groupset and wheels are you using?
Have ultegra DI2 and Mavic Pro Carbin exilith wheels
Canyon for me, I was long-looking for a replacement for my Bianchi Infinito which I gradually fell out of love with; I wanted something a bit more aggressively set up, which still looked good. Had to change the wheels as the ones that came with it were very susceptible in cross winds (for a 54kg rider!!!) so I got a Zipp 202 on the front and a 404 on the rear....looks a little quirky but I absolutely love it and I'd be happy to put more money Canyon's way in the future.
