SNAP!I bought myself the same wheels for Christmas.
The Canyon has been hiding in the garage all winter, finally dry enough to risk a spin out today.
Lovely
I’m used to having to top up tubeless but they seem to drop a few psi over the course of a 3hr ride.

Did you go with the standard tape and valves supplied or have you upgraded?

I've just set up a pair of Vel wheels this week, its taken a bit of fiddling to get them to hold air. They seem to have been leaking around the valve hole so I've squirted some extra sealant around there and then slacked off and re-tightened the valve a few times to get some sealant around the hole. Seems to have done the job now. I prefer valves with a rectangular rubber block that sits in the rim bed as they seem to seal better but will stick with the Vel ones for now.I’m used to having to top up tubeless but they seem to drop a few psi over the course of a 3hr ride.
I put this on page 1 of this thread…
Have recently changed the rear mech for an SLX as the XT was finally done. New chain, new cassette, forks serviced as they were feeling a bit second rate, seatpost was creaking worse than me so that’s been serviced, and the shock checked and found to be all good.
End result is that it feels just like it did nearly four years ago. It’s still hilariously fun just about everywhere and its ability to climb comfortably and smoothly is top notch. Love it

My most recent steed is still proving hilarious in the way it accelerates, takes on twisty singletrack and obliterates downhill scoots - under pressure I could possibly admit to being over-biked...
It’s a 2018 Yeti SB5.5 with Lyrik RLC 160mm fork, Fox DPX2 shock, Shimano Zee brakes with 203mm front disc and 180mm rear, Alexrims MD27 laced to Novatec hubs shod with 2.4” Maxxis Ardent, and running Shimano XT 1x11 and XT cranks. Bars are Sixpack Kamikaze - bought purely for the name with a KS Lev seatpost.
It’s around 13.5kg and just great fun everywhere.

Looks great and I've never seen a wall mount like that one.
Think I need one...
Ta. Decided I’d put it the wrong way around so fixed that earlier & added the banner. Now I’m happy Think I need one...
Here’s the link. Simple, discreet & robust.

The wife’s new bike to replace her time trial bike which our recent burglars failed to steal but managed to write off the frame during their attempts. The Hiplock airlocks did their job well, full alarm system also fitted to the bike area since then now.

My 'little' bike. Little because it's a 27.5, still an XL frame with 165mm rear and 170mm front.
It's a bit of a parts bike built up using stuff I had kicking around, frame is a gen4 Cotic Rocket that I've refreshed with a satin black re-spray (actually just stone chip) and a DVO Jade shock I picked up cheap.
First ride on it yesterday and it's fun AF, with some offset bushings and a coil it's like a mini DH bike.

Always loved the look of those...but they are blimming heavy, is it noticable? It's a bit of a parts bike built up using stuff I had kicking around, frame is a gen4 Cotic Rocket that I've refreshed with a satin black re-spray (actually just stone chip) and a DVO Jade shock I picked up cheap.

They're not that heavy IMO and TBH it's not something I've ever noticed or felt affects how it rides. Before this I had a carbon Intense Spider which was light AF, this, as well as my other Cotic ride so much nicer. Planted but chuckable at the same time and really compliant.

Everything is heavy compared to a BMX
@bobbo
I was comparing geometry and noticed it said this on the spec page for your frame; 215 x 63 AIR SHOCK ONLY
