Cant compete with the post above bike ha, but im chuffed with my new tarmac. Cannot believe how smooth it is coming from the Allez E5. Looking forward to some evening rides, hopefully won't get run over again. Love the colour, but its more turquoise in real life
That's a lovely thing, its not a competition, enjoy the ride!keith2.2 said:
Finally got the Aerocoach Aeox Ultra / Titan wheels on. Cannot for the life of me get the Victoria Corsa tubeless tyres to behave so set up on tubes at the moment.
It felt absolutely ballistic until 0.4 miles into the test run, hit a bump and the rear went bang.
That looks like a weapon - I hope you have the legs to do it justice It felt absolutely ballistic until 0.4 miles into the test run, hit a bump and the rear went bang.

That is immense it would take a brave man to overtake you on that! You need to get the tubeless sorted fixing a puncture by the side of the road could be a tad embarrassing. It felt absolutely ballistic until 0.4 miles into the test run, hit a bump and the rear went bang.
Please tell me you have a roof rack on the TVR to take it to competitions?

A brave man maybe - but not a powerful one Please tell me you have a roof rack on the TVR to take it to competitions?
Sadly the TVR is long gone. A couple of years ago I saw a bit of the hatfield tunnel I really wanted to park against..backwards..with another car.

Bought this week in an effort to stop me driving the mile into the village to buy groceries...also because N+1 and cheapness:
Nice! Reminds me of the bike our old Padre used to cycle around the barracks. I'd love something like that, but space is at a premium and I would be in danger of (further) upsetting my wife. Although my dad has a few old rod-brake bikes kicking about in a lean-to. Maybe I can persuade him to part with one of them...Some amazing bikes here, loving the variety. Mrs B and I would love to find a couple of e-bikes to get us around the Welsh hills and dales, but affordable, not too heavy bikes with crank motors and detachable batteries seem to be thin on the ground. Went into our local bike shop for a chat but the owner was about as approachable as a grizzly bear, which I found really surprising in these times.

This one is living in the dining room - which would be okay if it weren't for the two others that already live in there...and funnily enough the other bike I looked at when i bought the Pashley was an ARP Warden's Humber from 1940 - white mudguard flash, St Christopher badge, rod brakes and all!AyBee said:
Always love the ones that get justified with reasons like that Does it have or is it getting a basket for said groceries?
I did look at baskets and crates, but these turned up today and they should be enough for now:46 litres of shopping is about as much as I think i want to haul back up the hill...
My 2013 Condor Super Acciaio. It’s built from Columbus steel tubes & has a Sram Red groupset & Zipp 202’s. it doesn’t get ridden so much these days but I’ve decided to take it away on holiday with me so it was rescued from the loft & given a once over. It rides beautifully, weighs a reasonably svelte 7.5kg, feels fast, in fact I’ve still got a KOM from the sprint on my old chain gang route on this thing (with a few pro scalps to boot) so it’s no slouch. The ride quality is really good, super smooth, it kind of glides along. These Condor frames are quality items & not too expensive either for a steel frame that’s built in Italy. I was poised to sell it a few years ago but I’m glad I held on to it.
