Radio Kootwijk in The Netherlands last week followed by my son’s first trip to Llandegla yesterday. I felt a little sorry for him on his rigid bike whilst I was cruising around on the Levo but I have got 37 years on him so not too much sympathy.

Yeah, especially on a quiet day. Only saw a handful of other people.

Run in to Edinburgh for a lap of Arthur’s Seat.

Arthur’s Seat itself was quite nice, the entire rest of Edinburgh is an utter st show. Every time
I catch the notion to go for a ride there, I question my sanity afterwards.

Another lovely day in Wales.

This field is in the middle of nowhere, there's not even a tiny hamlet with too many consonants in its name nearby to reference.
So why on earth is there a bloomin' great eagle statue on a bloomin' great rock in the middle of bloomin' reasonably large field???

32 miles today purely because I wanted a particular shops pasty.

So worth it.

Rare input to this thread from me, Manly Beach this morning…

Cycling opportunities have been fewer than usual as we’ve had about 120% of annual average rainfall in the first four months of the year. Potholes are everywhere and the roads have been constantly awash with running water and debris. Off road tracks are farked.

Predictions are for rain until around August…eek

Did you see Spud and Renton up there jogging?

Awesome ride this morning. This was taken in Hale, looking towards Salisbury as we went towards Downton.

Me: Makes mental note to search out that pasty shop next time I'm out near Lymington.

Riding was an excuse to indulge today smile

It's quite scenic around here even waiting under a road bridge to see if it'll only be a very short shower (it wasn't...)
