Epic did you chat to them or just fan girl? (I would have been star struck fwiw)
I ended up spending nearly an hour in the back of a car with Brad after I had a mechanical and he decided he’d had enough and climbed off. I now know who his favourite Spice Girl is Johan is incredibly personable and was chatting with everyone. Chris Hoy is here too and is also likewise very happy to humour grown men fawning over him!

The cost was about £2,500 for two nights but everything was included. The car ferry over was part of the deal and you had priority boarding and access to the lounge with complimentary food and drink. LeBlanq then had exclusive use of the hotel for the weekend so it was only other riders staying. All food and drink (champagne, wine and beer) was included with a three course dinner on the first night and five courses on the second, which was cooked by Angela Hartnett.
You got custom Rapha jersey and gilet, as much Veloforte stuff as you could ever need (my bag may have been a bit heavier on the return journey…) and fully guided and supported rides. I had a mechanical on Saturday and within five minutes was in the back of this:
Unfortunately it was terminal so today I was provided with a Specialized Aethos to ride instead. Tough gig.
Last night there was a Q&A with Wiggins, Hoy and Museuw which was excellent.
And then this morning I did probably the fastest 10 minutes riding of my life sat in Museuw’s wheel, which was quite surreal.
There were also some other nice little touches. A large hamper turned up just before Christmas with champagne, gin, beer and other nice bits, as did a mixed box of stuff from Veloforte and there was a champagne drinks reception a couple of weeks ago to meet other riders that ended with another little goodie bag.
So in summary, there seemed to be quite a lot for your money and I would do one again in a heartbeat. They touted the idea of a weekend in Flanders next year with Merckx, Museuw and Boonen…

Yep, it was LeBlanq. I genuinely had one of the best weekends of my life but I guess the value for money question is subjective and will depend on what you actually value. Looking back on what I got, personally, I do think it was good value but it’s not cheap.

Imagine that in Flanders, would be truly epic!
Wiggo, Kelly, roche would be a cool combo.
