hehe

Neither have I on my non ebikes...well except for when my lungs and legs throw a fault code. Legs.exe has suffered a fatal exception error.

Algarve, Portugal.

Specifically, Albandeira area near Carvoeiro.

Strange with zero tourists! Apparently opening for business in May.

Today’s ride.

This is the remains of the recently demolished Ironbridge B power station.

It was a 1000 megawatts coal fired CEGB one.

Bike shot.

Dale End.

The famous Iron Bridge, which has been painted red for some reason.

Weather was stunning today,. Wheels and frame got a bit filthy at one point no thanks to yesterday's storm but it is what it is. What's sad is I lost front wheel traction riding round a tree like a maniac and slid on my side for about 5 seconds lol.

I managed to keep the bike held high as I slid scraping only the pedal. If I fell on the right side the rear mech would have taken a scraping....

A Costa Lemon Drizzle cake healed all mental wounds though lol.

Cheers! I was going to paint the scuffed pedal but thinking about it earlier, it is as you say a battle scar and should remain as is!

I was on the Wirral Way today too. It was a bit blowy down by Burton Marshes!

Yep, air ambulance parked up too and about six ambulances on the sheep st section. I’d heard a cyclist had injured themselves on the boardwalk, nothing reported locally though....

Blimey. Not sure how you’d crash on the boardwalk other than getting the cattle grid spectacularly wrong.

It was at the opposite end, where there’s the corner that takes you up above the shooting range.

MTBs are supposed to have 'patina'. If you don't have an occasional lie down in the cabbage you're not trying hard enough.
