Way nicer to ride than my Factor OSTRO vam, just currently slower until I install my larger chainrings.

65 miles around Salisbury racecourse this morning. Longest ride since the end of November. Windy AF.

My regular commuting route definitely still flooded. Looks like it will be a few weeks yet till I can ride rhe Cambridge guided busway path.

First proper ride on the road after a winter on Zwift, whacked on the elbow by a Vauxhall Mokka that flew off a junction, waiting to hear back from plod, welcome 2026!

Had a fun ride at Cannock Chase this afternoon with a friend my my two boys - nothing to taxing, just a couple of laps of the blue at 6 year old's pace. But he was riding well. On a couple of occasions a teenager had to pull aside to let him past. My mate got a rare action shot of me - I am usually the one behind the lens.

I managed shorts and a t shirt but with a baselayer underneath and long gloves.

First time on a bicycle since November 2025. In hindsight, 3 hours and 45 minutes might have been too long a ride when I'm so out of practice. But hey? The weather was lovely, for a change, so what the heck!

Bournemouth to Ringwood through Hurn Forest and St. Leonard's, a stop at The Forge Cycleworks to discuss some workshop time and order some parts, then the Castleman Trailway all the way to Upton, along Poole Quay, up and over to Sandbanks and along the promenade to Bournemouth Pier. Up and slightly inland through Boscombe, past the Vitality Stadium with a match in progress, and home. 68.86 km in total.

We picked the exact 2 hours today where it wasn’t not raining. Still enjoyed a loop of Cwmcarn Forest Drive (didn’t take 2 hours to get around the 15k)

Got 4 PBs on the way up. It was the first ride of the season and in the rain, surprising.
