Three years since I last MTB'd. Finally got round to having my Cotic Soul built up in time for a weekend in the Lakes. Such a fun bike.

Very still, quite fast.. i have to admit the wheels feed a bit wooden compared to the FFWD' & Enves. The saddle looks very uncomfortable but is actually very comfy smile. very quick above 22, and stays there /accelerates above that point quite effortlessly !

My new bike arrived over the weekend:

Four in the graffiti tunnel by Lewis Craik, on Flickr

An Orange Four Pro. Photo taken on my urban test route, I thought it was a bit different to the usual mountain bike in the woods shot.

Two new project bikes for a bit of gentle restoration. New tape tyres and then see what else needs doing.

I would like a Falcon Black Diamond for old time's sake. If you happen to come across one with a large frame, (~60cm), would yoube kind enough to let me know?

I love it. A major jump up from my Focus Cayo and so much better than my ability deserves.

Only thing I'd like to add now is a Quarq DZero Sram Red power meter. I've just bought a smart trainer and training with power and would love to ride with power out on the road too.

Frame: 7005 aluminium tubing
Forks: Suntour Raidon XC 120mm Air.
Gears: SRAM NX 1x11 system
