I use of of these for my daily commute....



and am thinking about building up a steel hardtail for XC fun when I get some spare time & money. Not done any proper XC since Newnham park as a kid

When it was new & clean !!

I've since added a thudbuster seatpost which gives 3" of travel and takes the edge off the bumps..

GT STS 1 for me, no pics a t the momet but wil try and get some sorted. Old bike now but something that I had always wanted and is a truly great ride imho! Doesn't get uesd as much as I'd like but that's mainly down to the weather.



It's been toooooooooo hot!

DH: Kona Stab frame, Fox Twin Clicker rear Shock, Stratos MX6 forks (Made in USA, plusher than plush), Hope Big 'Un Hubs with Mavic DH Rims and Hope M4 brakes, Black Spire complete chain device and LX cranks from about 97 (after snapping 2 sets of Race Face).

Play: DMR Trailstar, Hope Big 'Un Hubs, Hope O2 Discs, Sun Rims, Rock Shox Judy LT, cranks change depending on mood.
