It's undergone quite a few changes since then. Engine swap and turbo were done at the end of 2017.
That's looking awesome Stu , you've done a fab job , not sure about the motor choice but never mind wink

I know it's not to everyone's taste but good used kawasaki stuff is hard to find, and the cost of completely overhauling the cylinder head was going to be close to what it cost to buy and turbo the bandit engine.

Yep back in the day I would buy complete GPZ1100’s just for the heads and cranks and throw the rest away

With the 1327 Kwak motor on nitrous it went 8.85.
When I put the bandit engine in I left it completely stock and just put the turbo on it. With that setup it went 9.05.
I've not done any full passes on it since changing the pistons and cams due to the events of the last 18 months.

I do the odd rwyb and test day. I just ride it for fun. I attend straightliners events depending on the venue.

Anybody interested in a project?

We got a GSX 1327 engine and frame on wheels with some other parts that need digging out. It has an extended swinging arm.

We picked it up in early 2000's so its been stored for a long time but we just haven't had the time to do anything with it. Personally I'd love to get it sorted but we got a GS 1000 chop needing a full resto and a bunch of trikes we a currently working on.

If there is any interest here I will dig out all the parts we got for it and take some photos.

If anybody can point me to the right places to advertise this that would be greatly appreciated.

Based in Carmarthenshire, Wales.

My old 120ci 'Harley' at Santa Pod, about ten years ago. Had NOS, but never got the best out of it.. it became a road bike later, while I then built a similar bike, but lighter, in a rigid frame, with a 127CI motor. Fuel tank is the same though..
Still got the 127, only ran it on a local 'private' road.. seems its a bit loud for most venues except the Pod.

Also got a half share in a couple of bikes, which may or may not ever be finished..

Finally got this.. 1170 motor, forged pistons, RS34 carbs, flowed head, welded crank, outrigger . going in a much modified Z650, which I'd like to put on the strip, just to see how it goes..

An update, managed to get to santa pod for a couple of rwyb. Managed a pb of 8.75@154mph with a best of 160mph on another run.

Congratulations for popping your cherry on the Pod Strip,
was the wheelie managed by gas hand or electronics ?
You would get better control by putting your leg on the peg,
lowers the center of gravity and brings better handling.

All electronics off so hand. Habit with the leg - a lot of years moto-x race starts so I tend to always have the right one off when I initially launch
