another vote for either deletion of the post in question or whole thread; there has been no offical statement on the incident so stating rumours or whatever is entirely inappropriate and exactly how dragsterworld got shut down

My only concern is for the poor man's relatives. He was at a drag race so it's fair to assume he and his companions/family that were at the race with him, are racefans.. they could be reading about the circumstances of their relative/friend's death on a public forum.. bad taste doesn't even come close in my view. PH Admin, please shut this thread down and do it now.

I think most of all one should think of everyone involved and who is effected by any statements made! The family, the SPR crew and the race teams involved. Feelings, Lives and Futures are effected when comments are made in public.

My Feelings go out to the family, the crew of SPR and the teams involved.

The whole incident is subject to police enquiries and all this speculation is not helping. An official statement will be made in due course, and untill then I think this thread should stop making any theories public which could prejudice the enquiry, or individuals who may, or may not, have been involved.

Colin, can you delete your posting please, for the many repeated reasons above?
