Hi I'm Tim Fountain

Never had the desire to race and mechanically clueless but a keen photographer. I take pictures for a few teams and also provide some sponsorship for Team Turboville. Always willing to help teams out with photographic services as an associate sponsor if anyone is interested.

I have always been a two wheeled motorsport fan but enjoy watching everything at the strips. Regular at both SPR and SCR.

I was guilty of thinking drag racing would be boring until attending the Sunday of the European Finals 2003 to witness a jet car body flying through the air shortly after arrival, Micke Kagereds massive engine explosion to hand the title to Smax, a fuel funny car spitting its body off, Freddie Fagerstrom doing a near full track burnout and the Top Methanol Final which gave Dave Wilson the title by a hairs breadth. I have been hooked ever since

I'm Ray Comer and occasionally run a 99 camaro in Street Eliminator. Been watching drag racing since the 80s when my neigbour Clive, one of the Page brothers, used to go.

Occasionally crew for a couple of the other guys in SE when they need a spare pair of (useless) hands

I'm Andy Marrs, Head of Sarcasm.

I was invited to the track by my then work colleague Steve Horn, Chief Timekeeper and former driver of Hellbender, in the mid 90's and was immediately hooked. I joined the timing crew and am still there, although unfortunately I spend less time at the track nowadays due to family and work commitments.

Phil Sweeney, currently own and race my altered with the Wild Bunch and Super Pro ET. This is our 5th year drag racing, raced Mini's for a few years previously.

PB's are 8.49 @ 152MPH. Have won 3 MSA events in WB, qualified 14th first time out in Super Pro and have run run a perfect dial in, in our old slingshot which ran 13's and was a manually shifted 4sp box.

Here my car, currently being revamped, fresh paint for the Nostalgia's hopefully. Car is the ex Jon McIntyre's, Macs Rat, built late 90's and ran in Super Comp. My run of 8.49 is, I think the quickest the cars gone. The T body is from Tamtrum a small block altered from the 80's/90's, the body I beleive probably came from a Panic mould.

I'm Jon Dew and back in the days when I was single and had money I bought Phil Bennett's old Pro ET RED as a chassis and panels plus a few other bits..

Started to amass a good pile of parts; then got involved with a snake with tits and was rendered utterly broke.

Ho hum ! Split with snake but shortly thereafter got involved with my to be wife and started buying houses and breeding. Still have no cash but all the stuff I gathered is waiting for the time I do.

I am Jim Broome and have been involved in the sport for a number of years having started spectating in 1976. I was Race Secretary of the BDRA from 1983 - 1985, Race Co-Ordinator in 1986 & Chief Starter in 1987 serving on the BDRA's Executive Committee and as Chairperson of the Competition Committee before taking a break from the sport [you can take the man out of the sport but you can't take the sport out of the man]. It was after I returned to the sport that I was approached by John Spuffard/Bob Jarrett and subsequently by Keith Bartlett/Terry Gibbs when I accepted the position of Funny Car Championship Co-Ordinator for 2002-2004 after which the numbers in the class conspired against the Championship continuing. Currently I enjoy my time at the track talking with old (and newer) friends and watching the racing from the bank.

Clive Rooms. Saw my first meeting at the Pod in August 1966 and have been watching drag racing regularly and continuously ever since at the Pod and Shakey. Been to York many times and also most of the NDRC venues many times in the 70's and 80's. Always been a spectator only, except for 1972-74 when I worked on the Pod firecrew. For the past couple of years, I have been helping the NSA run their sprint meetings around the country as well as watching not only mainstream drag racing, but also quite a few lifestyle events at the Pod and Shakey.
