My Grandmother has just bought a 15' plate civic 1.8 SR to replace her previous gen Civic. Unfortunately to mine and her surprise the dipped beam is appalling (at first I thought her eyes were the problem but after inspecting she is right!). The projector style Full Beam is great, but the headlight seems to use a halogen for the dipped beam (eggy colour). Can't for the life of me find the bulb type to upgrade them to brighter, whiter light.

Does anyone know the bulb type and could point me in the right direction for a solution?

Thanks for your help!

Go to any car bulb website - even Halfords - key in the registration number and it will tell you what bulb type it needs. Then check for upgrades.

In your photo the outer beam is a protector type - surely that one the dipped beam.

Thanks for the help! unfortunately I could only change the high beams - turns out projectors are a bumper off job.
