Honda Accord i-vtec (2004 reg) - power window

My Honda accord had an issue with the front driver window mechanism as at times if was not responsive and would not work if it was fully down untill you keep pressing a few times and then it comes to life,but now its not working at all and I cannot lower it

any ideas what it might be and would it be an expensive repair?
