After doing some reading - the FN2 isn't doing it for me. The EP3 seems like a much more special car - and there's a fair few nice examples for around 3k. Will hopefully end up trying one back to back against a 182 cup. Accord Type R is too few and far between unfortunately!
Why not against the proper 172 cup ?

It came from the factory pre lightened , thinner glass , less sound deadening , no aircon/abs , and wider track.

FD2 Type R, the one we never got in the UK. Some exist here, imported from Japan. All round better cars. And rare wink

For £6k? It would be missing it's engine, suspension, brakes....

I've seen a few FF Cups with both packs etc. All the creature comforts, just as fun, and i'm looking at the more unique colours - Racing Blue, Inferno Orange, Black Gold etc. - I personally think the looks have aged better than the EP3 as well...

I was thinking the same. Missing a '1' off the begging of the price maybe!

£13k is about the entry price for one with higher miles.

Bought one for her indoors 3 years ago from Torque GT and it’s still worth the same, albeit it’s only done 10k or so since then. Not many 58 year old women tooling around in an FD2 biggrin

Wow, respect!

I tried to convince my o/h to get one when she was looking for a new car, she ended up spending near on £15k on an Audi A3 (it is lovely to be fair), but I couldn't help thinking what a nice example of an FD2 that would have put outside the house!

Yes, I may have something to do with her choice of car. Since I met her it's gone.... Clio 172, Integra DC5, Civic FD2 biggrin

Thanks for all the suggestions - my SSS was hit when parked and looks a write off - Which means my budget will be slashed unless i go on finance. Unexpected drop to around the 3.5k mark, but lots of nice EP3s for that mark!

Plenty if clios for that budget as well , plus the steering feel is better than a ep3.
