A 2016 model is an FK2. The FN2 was sold between 2007 - 2012 ish.

The ride is firm (it's a type-r afterall) but loads of people use them as a daily with no problems.

We have a 2017 non GT model.

From memory the sound system has less speakers/power but is actually quite good. It compares favourably with other cars we have had with standard sound systems, so I suspect the sound system in the GT is actually quite good and probably more than adequate for most.

We sort of gave up on the connect options from day one to be honest.

As for the ride.......well I'm 54 and use the car as a daily. It's been to Spa a few times and on other long journey's and it's fine and just like every other hot hatch we have had (and we've had a few). That said, in R mode the suspension is so stiff, the car is effectively undrivable on anything other than a smooth race track.

They are great cars and will also return early 40's mpg on a 75mph ish motorway run

Being brutally honest, they are about so much than just how good the infotainment system is.
