Hi Chaps,

The driver footwell on our '06 Civic is sodden, it doesn't seem to be coming from the door as the carpet along the sill doesn't seem wet. Any ideas on a likely culprit please? It's not losing coolant.

Thank you

There is a filter for the air con in the passenger foot well, maybe a pollen filter- i cant remember (under the right hand side of the glove box). If that has not been put back properly it lets in a lot of water. Had the same thing happen on mine a number of years ago, left the foot well sodden!

EDIT: sorry, just noticed you said drivers side, worth checking but ours was passengers.

Thanks Both, the A/C drain seems to be the most likely culprit so I'll try and look at it this weekend.

Lift the plastic roof trim and look carefully where the windscreen pillar and roof seem join. There is ‘filler’ here. Is it split? And I mean hairline split.

The sill side of the carpet is bone dry so I don't think it's coming from the door (A pillar) side of the car but thanks anyway, I'll bear this in mind if the ac drain isn't the culprit.
