The problem with that one is that mileage is so low, you d be scared to use it. Definitely one for a car collector.

I m getting one with 43k - another 20k on it won t make a lot of difference to the value.

People always say this about old cars with very low mileage - but someone will buy this awful dross for about the same price, and put normal miles on it without a second thought, and after another 3 years and 20k miles the retail value will have dropped 10k and trade in value even more - suspect that the Civic would hold its value better.

Agree with this. I had a premier ep3. Looked great, nice recaros and red carpet. Amazing engine and box. Crap steering ruined it for me. Maybe I should have had a dc2 instead.

Much preferred my Clio trophy. Put the ep3 box and engine in that and it would have been the perfect hot hatch!

I had one new in 2002. The numb steering bothered me briefly. I got used to it. Kept the car until 2006.

I owned an EP3 in 2008 for 3 years and I never fully appreciated it when I owned it, if I’d of known what motoring in 2026 was going to become I would of enjoyed it so much more!

Wrote off my first EP3 (one of the very earliest) and the replacement was much worse from the steering POV - used to stick on long motorway bends and needed a reasonable amount of effort to centre it again. That and the ride on the B roads of my 30+ mile commute proved too much and I got shot of it

Great cars - I bought a brand new one in 2005. Still one of the best cars i've ever owned and I held on to it for 7 years, putting about 70,000 miles on it, before buying an S2000.

Absolutely nothing went wrong with it in those 7 years, and it was driven hard every day. The only thing I replaced was tyres and wiper blades.

Mine had a CEL which resulted in an injector being replaced under warranty - and a loose air vent, also fixed under warranty. That was it.

The imported one I bought has a full Honda history in Japan up to 2023 that I was able to translate via Google.

Only non consumable part in there is a new Throttle body.
