I'm leaving right now, see you later guys!

If you see someone wandering about in the parking lot with a silver RS4, looking lost, that would be me, come get me biggrin

Enjoy the drive as I sadly watch from the shore of Lake Leman. Oh well, there is the Bol d'Or sailing race and the 24h Le Mans to compensate...
Stay cool everyone

Great day out. Hope everyone got back safely.

Thanks to Pete for organizing it.

Would love to see some pictures or videos, if Phil et al can share (by email).

See you all next year...or in the Blackforest?

Thanks everyone for a fabulous day. We came back from Visp yesterday over the Furka and Klausen, finding both quiet. There was a police presence (car, bike) near the top of the Furka on the Valais side.

As always, the people made the day for us. Glad we were blessed by the weather this year.

Good to hear the weather was fine and everybody enjoyed themselves. Supposedly no damage either. That's excellent also.
Now just need some photos/videos to watch and drool over for those who couldn't make it....

Just arrived back in Frankfurt. Thanks to everyone who was able to make it as it was a superb day. On Sunday we managed the old Grimsal, Lukemainer, Oberalp and the Klausen with good weather to boot. I'll try and sort some photos out in the next few days.

I think we should put together a petition to get AndrewD to bring his new 288 GTO to the next Annual Passes meet (he could bring that other GTO as well if he fancied).

Ideas to persuade/cajole/shame him into turning up gratefully received smile

Sorry for being a bit late to the party here. Superb day!

I haven't quite had the time yet to sort out the pictures I took - but will try to get that done ASAP and post some up. If there's a chance for another drive in the alps, I'm all for it.

Phil

PS: Pete, I've sent you an email. Not sure if you received it?!

A formal "Thank You" on Pistonheads to Pete for sorting everything out.

It was great to see you all with your fine machines, and actually hear those great cars on full chat! My ears are still bleeding from first being behind the 360 CS, and then ending the day behind the Exige and V8 Vantage S!
I certainly enjoyed following the B5 RS4 for the first Pass and it was a joy to have that E63 AMG filling my rear view mirror - but then idoluvmercs redface

The weather was nothing short of perfect. My redness quickly paled to a tan and is soon to be back to normal, I think!

My car received a bloody good work out, along those great roads. After some initial brake troubles, things seemed to sort themselves out and the RS4 was great - However I think I need louder disposal units!

I shall hopefully be posting my photos later this week. I look forward to seeing more photos and videos from the day.

If a Black Forest Run is organised I may well be tempted back to the continent wink
If not, I shall see you all next year drivingbiggrin

Darren

I really enjoyed seeing (and hearing!) a B7 in its element, great color also, but I think I still "win" coming out of hairpins eheheh
Nobody had ever driven my 11 years old car like that before, she made her thoughts very clear on the Nufenen by going ECU-crazy, lighting the dashboard like a christmas tree and shutting down the turbos whistle

We both need new exhausts and brakes!

Hear hear- 3 Cheers to Pete! A wonderful day of driving. Always nice to see familiar faces/sublime cars, and always fantastic to meet new faces and new metal/expensive composites too smile
Especially enjoyed being harassed by SpeedFrog in the 964 RS down the Nufenen- never driven my car that hard before (but never had any problems with my brakes- Audi brakes must be made of cheese).

Wonderful seeing Walter back in the AMG too. Good on you Walter- and despite your protests, you definitely are NOT slow!

Should hopefully upload some pics later this week. Thanks a lot chaps.
