Wonderful seeing Walter back in the AMG too. Good on you Walter- and despite your protests, you definitely are NOT slow!
Should hopefully upload some pics later this week. Thanks a lot chaps.
thanks for the reassurance. I too was greatly encouraged by my experience and I'm up for any further tours. After all, it canShould hopefully upload some pics later this week. Thanks a lot chaps.
only get better as my body improves.
It was great to see you all - a little normality in the craziness of the last year-odd.
Seems like you had a great tour! Judging by the pictures the car fleet was also impressive
Unfortunately, I already had other plans for that weekend, but I'm looking forward to my own Tour des Alpes this summer. Is it possible to get the route you guys took for some inspiration?
Cheers, Chris.

I've finally uploaded my photos from my the Run. Just note, they are all the photos from my 6 day trip, not only the Run

Well...looks like we definitely chose the right weekend for annual passes drive....

I think I might have got lucky this weekend. As usual, was up at the crack of dawn on Saturday for an early morning drive in the CS. Was planning to do the same on Sunday but ended up sleeping in. Found out later that there had been severe hailstorms in the Zurich area (with hailstones the size of golf balls). Don't want to think about what that would have done to the CS!

Wow, I didn't realise the weather was that bad. We were caught in a heavy rain storm in Zurich on Saturday when driving back from Zug where pretty much everyone pulled over until they could see again. I was glad to be in the Forester, not the Lotus.
I remember a hail storm like that in Geneva around 2004/5 when we lived there. Pretty much any car parked outside looked like it had cellulite. Fortunately my wife managed to park under her office and all was OK.

Well, it's taken me a while, but I've finally uploaded my photos from the recent hoon.

As seems usual for me, I think I've taken hundreds of photos and gotten great pics of all the cars from all the angles- then I get home to review my efforts and see I've missed an awful lot! Not enough photos of the Aston (I guess you can't photograph sound!), Walter's AMG (it's NOT a Mercedes!) to name just 2. Also didn't manage to a picture of the 3 silver 911s next to each other- my younger, poorer and heavier relation to the exquisite lightweight RSs.
Anyway, enjoy, and let's hope there are some more warm sunny days for us to enjoy our drives this summer...
