Folks,
is anybody going to the Bernina Granturismo on the Berninapass in September? I understand this is the closest you can get to Goodwood in Switzerland, and the drive¨to get there over the mountain passes is just fantastic! As I am living in Graubünden myself I would be happy to organise a tour if there would be some interest. The event itself is free for spectators.
Cheers,
delage.

We'll be there. It's a wonderful event and as we live in St. Moritz it's super-local.

Last year there was some fantastic machinery. RHB puts on a classic train and a classic bus does shuttle rides from the parking at the Diavolezza lift.

On the Sunday last year it was snowing at the top but that didn't stop the owners of classic Ferraris, Bugattis and a fair number of Jag C / D types going for it. We didn't go on the Saturday as we had visitors staying.

We also saw the Ferrari 250 Breadvan being pushed hard up the climb

A lovely crowd.

Weather forecast is looking pretty good so I’m heading down there. Will eurotunnel Thursday, stay near Reims and arrive Friday afternoon for the weekend. Will head onto Tarentaise on Monday.

If you were to organize a tour next year i would certainly be interested, I live in Glarus so less than an hour away from you.

Cheers
