Was up there a couple of Fridays ago.
Mk3 2.0 mx5, 30mm lowering springs, RX8 ARBs and uniroyal rainsports 3 tyres. Dry and warm.
Best on video was a 1.29 but in the afternoon was comfortably into the 1.27s but sadly the camera died. Tyres were the limiting factor. Some decent rubber would have knocked another second or so off the times.
My mate did a 1.29, I need to be braver following the Esses through Paddock Hill Bend and through Camp.Mk3 2.0 mx5, 30mm lowering springs, RX8 ARBs and uniroyal rainsports 3 tyres. Dry and warm.

You mean old paddock? That and camp are the two corners that if you do t carry good speed you lose so much time over a lap.
I'm look g forward to getting back there later in the year with my sprint mk3 to see the difference in lap time a properly prepared car give. I'm hoping for low 1.20s. I'll need a few brace pills though.

Mitsubishi Evo 10
damp, drying track in October
1:15
About as good as I am going to get with the car in this spec.
That looked a pretty clean lap, your car clearly has fantastic traction and a shed load of torque! I can get to the same sort of speed as you to avon rise 131mph or so in the z4m (it's relatively slippery i guess) but the best lap to date has been a 1:18.2 in the dry on slightly shagged ns2-rs.Mitsubishi Evo 10

First time to Combe on Saturday and first in the new car.
98 UK integra Type R. Stock with Toyo R1R tyres.
Best was a 1:30.1. Video below chasing a Caterham 310R and being chased by 3 Caterham 270Rs. Great fun but lots of room for improvement and highlighted the cars need for some decent pads and fluid!

I've only been there once in my e46 M3 and being an action day it was very much just drive to the circuit, get out on track and fight with the traffic (no time for setting tyre pressures etc) but managed a 1.17.

Before the 2 chicanes were put in, just for comparison, CAR magazine hustled a standard UK spec DC2 round in 1:18.9498 UK integra Type R. Stock with Toyo R1R tyres.

While interesting to see lap times and gauge where your at, I do find that these timing threads can at times be a little mis-leading due to the lack of context.
Without having the full spec of the car, power, weight, suspension, brakes tyres etc, as oppose to make / model, the times are not overly relevant and make it difficult to draw comparisons. - And this is before the experience of the driver is factored in.
That said I still like looking

Eunos roadster 1.8 no power mods so 130BHP
uprated arbs, meister zeta S dampers, racing beat adjustable drop links, 949racng alignment (as near racing as it could get)
no aircon
sparco sprint bucket seats
trlane rollbar
tyres : michelin ps3
dry
1:27
reckon if I push more through Camp might be able to get in the 1:25s but I think that would be at the limit.
worked out that each extra 1mph on the average speed get 1 sec in lap time

That is quick!! - Spec of the car?
Sorry, just spotted your question CrashBangIt's a Mitsubishi Evo 10 with quite a lot of mods. It is still a 2.0ltr, engine rebuilt with a Precision Turbo by Norris Designs, It has a replacement MOTEC ECU and an RS mechanical rear diff which allows me to loose all the driving aides and annoying interruptions. It is fitted with a Samsonas 5 speed sequential dogbox with flatshifts. Running on Nitron shocks with rally tarmac tyres. I hope that helps.

With the completion of the re-surfacing done over the winter I think lap times will be improved this year. Camp definitely has more grip and will likely result in higher speeds reached on the way to Avon Rise.
I heard they'd resurfaced the last part, hurrah! My best last year was a 1:16.8 in the Z4m, will be going there soon with the same tyres (ad08-r), camp should be fun!

Some really quick time there. I need to grow a pair.
Tiff Needell managed 1:15 in a standard 997.1 RS on Fifth Gear in 2007.
I guess the Z4M isn’t standard?
I'd imagine an 997 rs would go a bit quicker now as the circuit was 6/8 resurfaced around 2013 I think. layout is the same.Tiff Needell managed 1:15 in a standard 997.1 RS on Fifth Gear in 2007.

Some relatively recent road car times by autocar on the new surface are
BMW i8 – 1min 19.4sec
Porsche Cayman GTS – 1min 17.4sec
BMW M4 – 1min 16.8sec
https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/new-cars/britai...
As has been stated though the final part of the track is now resurfaced too (finally!), so expect a small decrease again.
My Z4M isn't standard but still very much a road car, AP brakes, geo change, billy non adjustable dampers, 20 hp increase on a good day from the CSL box.
Eta: Not that fast really!!
Also from the same autocar test
Ferrari 458 Speciale – 1min 11.9sec
McLaren 650S – 1min 12.9sec
Porsche 911 GT3 – 1min 13.1sec
