Yep, have seen the forecast as well.. last year I went in May and the forecast then was the same dull rain. The actual weather was magnificent apart from one heavy shower Sun pm..

I'm heading over Friday am, 1st time.
I'll be in an orange Caterham, with no roof or windscreen, so wet weather is going to be challenging on many different levels....

With no screen that is a challenge especially from where you are smile I hillclimb mine and the short runs are enough for me with no screen.Would definitely trailer mine for so many reasons.
If you fancy a couple of laps before you take the plunge just pop over in the car park.

Thanks for the offer, much appreciated. I'm naturally quite a competitive soul, but I'm determined to take it slowly, enjoy the atmosphere (rain), ease my way in - goes without saying I reaaaalllly don't want to bin it! You'll be in your white M3?

Yes will be in the m3.You really do have to tread carefully to start with especially with other people not been able to see you easily. All my first laps were done with someone who had raced there for years and all he kept saying was build it up slowly. You can still push on a bit but be very aware of cars coming up from behind very quickly.

I will be heading over on the Sunday and staying for the week with some friends. Second time visiting, was a bit overwhelming first time last year, so hopefully get to speak to some more people and take more in this time. Will be passenger in my friends M135i and have my PH Smiley stickered helmet if anyone spots us.

Mine seemed awesome in the wet. Only a few unnerving moments but overall, was loving the wet laps....

Did you see Michael Fassbender in the RentRing M2?

What tyres you running on the rs? I'm on mich pilot sports and on roads in the wet it's epic, but on the track i had to really tip toe round. Normal service was returned on the Sunday morning once it had dried up, had a few very nice laps.

I'm on the Audi recommended Continental Sport Contact 3's. They performed great..
