I broke the website last Friday when I booked a season pass and immediately got an email saying I had exceeded my card limit as it had taken more than one booking. Darren resolved the matter immediately and had to close the system down to get it fixed so I can only guess that has not been as easy as it sounded.

You should see how hard I kicked the hamster for that one!N.
Sorted now, systems functioning as they should.
People often ask what are the differences between a trackday and TF. I found this video which gives a decent explanation.

Excellent, that would be great
I will come down in either the Lotus or Jaguar (depending on the weather), so I shouldn't be too inconspicuous!
Looking forward to it already.
Cheers,
Ben

If the Jag , where have you taken it already in anger ? First impressions , comparisons to
the rest of your fleet ? Assume the decision , Jag or Lotus will affect how you will approach this August's Ring experience . Do you have a preference assuming the weather is kind ? Decisions , decisions !
Rob .
Hi Rob.
Not many impressions on the Jag just yet since it only arrived yesterday and I’ve got a broken ankle!
However, what I can tell you is that it feels a bit of a monster. Very large, with a mega engine and a knock-out sound system! The perfect antidote to the Lotus then, which was what I was after: chalk and cheese.
Normally I’d take the Jag, but I’d like to experience the Lotus at least once at the Green Hell so if the weather looks to be knock-out in August I’ll take the lightweight. If not, I’ll cruise down in the comfort of the XK.
I might do DN in September too so that will provide me with the option to enjoy both cars at my favourite circuit

Not sure if this question has already been asked/answered...
Looking to book DN20.
On DN website for DN20 it does not give max car numbers like on the Ringmeisters day in August.
Does anyone know how many cars are allow on track on DN20?
Cheers
There are more cars than Ringmeisters but I don`t know the exact numbers.Looking to book DN20.

Not sure if you`ve seen my reports that I write after each trackday before but if you look at them you get a better idea of numbers. This is my DN18 report and if you watch this video from immediately after a closure you get an idea of how `busy` it gets. Compared to TF that`s pretty damn quiet but it`s busy for a trackday. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4-75OHiILM8
The Ringmeisters trackday is obviously quieter and at times feels like you have the track to yourself.
I know that doesn`t exactly answer your question but I genuinely don`t know the difference between the numbers so can only share my experiences of each event What I do know is that even after a closure, you can drive straight onto the track after a couple of minutes. There is never any queuing to get out once it has been open for 5 minutes.

A long time ago PH did a trackday at Palmer Sport in Bedford. At the time, they had XKRs as one of the events and, almost to a man, everyone was surprised at what a fun track car they were. A very much underrated car.Wh00sher said:

I've done 3 days with DN; two on DN16 and one DN17. The numbers of cars never really seemed an issue and I never heard anyone whinge about it.On the whole, the drivers seem to stick to the rules and protocols that the organisers are at pains to set out in the briefing.
