Being in the only DC2 much fun was had trying out different wet lines.

Many thanks DN20 and volunteers for all your efforts.
I THINK it was your car that had the car alarm that kept going off every 30 seconds in the carpark... Just incase you didn`t know.

I never saw the driver with the car to tell him.

Not me. It was the red Honda Accord type R. At some point was parked close to your car, near the AMGs. I too looked for the driver without joy.

Another well run DN event, really enjoyed it - thanks to Darren, Nige, Matt etc and the other organisers.

Thursday was tricky with the coolant/oil down after Bergwerk and all the way up the hill, and it was a shame that the rain on Friday afternoon brought things to a halt early, but Friday morning was perfect lapping - just perfect.

Here is two flat out laps in a friends Caterham Superlight R vs my E46 M3, some of the best I have ever had there smile

Nice laps! Agreed Fri morning was bliss I set a new PB but looking back on my vids plenty of places to pick up some more time I think...Roy's instruction proved most helpful!

Super cool cars. Love the E46 M3 ! Great clean set of laps. Was hoping you would overtake me as I forgot to video any of my laps, so only have the frozenspeed photos.

See now that's exactly the sort of stupidity the DN days were made for. Brilliant stuff.

I've bookmarked that to watch a tea break.

What are your thoughts on the speed these drivers are carrying during DN20?

The second lap in particular is blistering...driver was a touch aggressive in places with slower cars tho. Some perspective though if you consider Kevin Estre's lap in a
.2 RS would have been 6m 23s if you measured it BTG the above lap ( which is v fast for an amateur) is still 44 secs off that...truly astonishing...those pro drivers are from another planet! Anyone know what the record BTG time is for a trackday?

Speed differentials are always going to provide the potential for danger. There is no doubt about that.

Last VLN ably demonstrated the hazard, and this with top-level professional drivers: https://www.facebook.com/nuerburgring/videos/25441...

Generally I quite like the 'buzz' of race cars passing you, flat out, but on the other hand, it can be disconcerting and even experienced track day drivers will be busy just trying to get the hang of the 'Ring for their first few trips, so I can see it might intimidate some.
Wow incredible save from the guy in the Merc scary stuff
To save me watching all 10 minutes, where?

IMHO less of an issue than the recalcitrance from the various rented Suzuki Swifts in Ali M's video. All of them seemed surprised by faster cars coming up behind. I do wonder about rented cars...

Is T13 the area where you can stop and charge petrol? If so, yes, it was open.

Pretty sure the first guy is German guy called Niels who was at Ringmeisters. Seemed liked a lovely fella and really quick. Still laughing even when he blew the motor up in the 991.1 GT3 as Manthey can do warranty work locally now. He just went and rented the APEX Cupra on day 2.

Second guy is the latest APEX Ring Taxi Driver so to be able to get that status you need to be more than a bit handy.

Great to see low 7 times from road cars driven buy guys in denim wearing trainers........

Niels seems to have posted a video of the engine failing at 21s at T13 and then the Bongard truck at 3m40s.

Curious how the revs suddenly rise into the Tiergarten compression. Almost like either wheelspin or a missed-shift, but I'm assuming the car is PDK?
