Hi, yes - booked yesterday. I was surprised to see this hadn't booked up yet, probably the recent awful weather. Forecast is looking Ok now though.

Red Golf, see you there.

Great to see some other PH cars there, I will keep an eye out - I am in a Black TT with white wheels and white Audi rings up the side

Forecast looks good although I am in Northampton and its tipped it down all day today lol

A good day! Cracking weather, if windy.

My day included a trip to Northampton at lunch to grab brake pads for front and rear plus my calliper wind-back tool. The end of the pit straight and end of the back straight were very hard on my brakes.

I was driving hard behind the flame-spitting RX8 when the gearknob came off in my hand on the right-hander coming onto the pit-straight which made for an amusing video clip - calmly hand it to passenger, mutter about my knob coming off, then drop a cog with what's left of the stick, and hoof it after the Mazda.

Yeah it was a good day, nice to meet some peeps on here, mine was less eventful than yours car wise, had issues with the idiot in the fiesta and the blue Subaru not letting me pass on the straights but being super super slow in corners causing massive bottle necks.

That aside, the car ran fine but two tanks of fuel and wmi was heavy! Lol

thoroughly enjoyed the day and thought the driving by all was spot on. 210 track miles just scraped me over my general trackday target so that was a bonus. Managed to get some footage of the Mini Cooper S going into the gravel. Saw the car in the car park at lunch time, hope everything turned out ok and not too much damage done.

I saw chatting to someone who knew the owner, said that it was a brake hose failure, took out all his brakes and buried the car in the gravel after trying to slow it down with engine braking and whatever handbrake he could muster, front bumper, under trays, rad, sump all appear to have been affected, such a shame, would hate to have that happen, but Bedford is one of the safest in the UK so worse places it could have gone wrong

not nice no, but like you say, could have been a lot worse, even at Bedford the "gas tank" hairpin wouldnt have show sympathy
