I’ve not seen anything like this before it’s a bit like automotive rodeo!

Take some big Yank V8’s, some Jap 4wd turbos and a whole bunch of crazy pick up trucks and race one lap at a time and see what happens - the crowd love it when they crash! But not as much as the commentator enjoys the mayhem.

We don’t have anything remotely like this in Europe, worth a watch just to believe it’s real.

is that the stadium super-trucks (at work so can't see the vid)? If not you really need to get a look at that stuff too - sheer insanity!

No just some sort of RWYB oval 1 lap race.

Reminds me of a stock car meet near Southampton early 80's.

They used to allow spectators to try a timed lap in between races.

2 guys go onto the "in-field" in 1 of their father's pretty-much band-new Capri.,

Son goes round like a proper wuss in the slowest time ever.

He pulls back to the in-field while someone else has a go, meanwhile we can all see guys mate deep in conversation trying to blag a go round, Son eventually caves in & mate goes out on track.

You can guess the rest....... He completely stuffs it into the high tension barrier fencing leaving wreckage all over & a totally un driveable car that the track guys then have to remove with a HiAb!

Matey wasn't 'appy you might guess.

Gotta love our American cousins sometimes though, especially the rednecked variant.

Figure 8 racing, what could possibly go wrong?

Love the comment, "he doesn't weigh as much as he did at the start of the race, he just lost about 5lb's there" rofl

The madness of the time trail ! They used to do it at newton aycliffe stock car track when I was a boy . Legend has it that someone stuffed an e type into the post once .
If you search there's a spectator race on YouTube somewhere , a big haired man in a mustang convertible does quite well until being overtaken by an opal I think it was . Hot rod racer Barry lee is in the same race in a rolls Royce !

I was expecting a dozen cars on the track all vying for the lead and crashing into one another. This lot were just trying a bit too hard and didn't know what to do when they hit the comedy oil slick.
