10th Nov with Javelin. Did it last year for the first time and it was a bit of a revelation, so many interesting corners and evelation changes.
It's a fantastic circuit and if you manage to link a good lap up It's very rewarding. In fairness it was wet/dry/wet. Or somewhere in between most of the time. The M2 is probably not the best tool for consistency there!
I'd rather go a bit slower in a stbox station car than not go at all when the primary track day car is out of action...so all of my cars have taken the title of track day car at some point...although can't find any track photos of the e46 330D, f31 320D, 16V Alfa 147, e34 520i, or Polo GT.

Had a nosey at your running costs and blog for the Z4 :-0Z4MC
I've done 98000miles in a 3.0 V6 and dared not calculate the fuel costs, yours made me gulp.
Love the attitude of track everything and miles ain't nothing but a number

My man maths worked out that the Z4M was worth buying purely as running costs were half that of the e34 M5 I've done 98000miles in a 3.0 V6 and dared not calculate the fuel costs, yours made me gulp.

I really need to update the garage/blog as it's got more miles on it now, and I'm not sure if I've put the costs in for suspension, bucket seats, brakes...nor that I've sold the e46 330d and bought an F31 320D.
There might be a supercharger in there soon too!

Saw you updated your garage blog, gone over the £100k now, wouldn’t imagine it, nice to keep a blog, I think
The P1 has been taking trackday beatings it’s whole life. Bit compromised as a full on track car as I have kept the suspension original as it makes it really good on the road. Still it is fairly quick with 500bhp.
As 500bhp was proving a bit of a struggle for the poor old thing and about 1/3 of trackdays ended up with me coming home on a yellow fun bus or limping back with something broken I decided to get a more sensible track car last year.
Hyundai i30N, standard apart from wheels and tyres and does brilliantly. 4 trackdays in now, not a single issue and even if it does then the 5 year warranty on it cover trackday use
It is only 2-3 secs a lap slower than the P1 despite half the power and 200kg more weight!

It's still not complete, as I'll have to dig out the invoices for bits I've done over the last 3 years, as I've not really kept on top of it.Saw you updated your garage blog, gone over the £100k now, wouldn’t imagine it, nice to keep a blog, I think
I'm definitely not putting on the cost of track days, track day insurance or Ring laps - as that might take it to £200k
