Hello all, this post with permission from PH headshed, thanks guys!
With huge thanks to Silverstone, who have partnered with The Forces’ Motorsport Charity to deliver the 2nd Mission Motorsport Silverstone Troops Trackday on 11th February 2020, we'd love it if some of you lovely PHers would like to join us. The day will be based from The Silverstone Wing and Formula 1 Pitlane, and will be the largest one day recovery sport and National Transition event we’ve ever staged – firstly as an opportunity for a large beneficiary population to experience the UK’s finest and fastest track, secondly as a service leaver career day and thirdly as a fundraiser for the charity.
The cost is just £250, and if we’ve got our maths right that’ll help cover our costs of putting on the event. We’d like to make use of your passenger seat for the day for MM beneficiaries
Noise is limited to 102dB..... drive by! So yes, you can bring your '66 GT40!

As a driver you will have a specific place in the F1 garages beneath The Wing. The track side is being run by our great friends at supporters at GoldTrack – normal track day rules and requirements apply. Gates will open at c.0730 and sign on from 0745. Track will go live at 0900 and will remain open (open pit) until last light, likely around 1630/1700. All Wing infrastructure open and running, food available to buy in the large F1 dining hall, loads of parking and spaces for trailers/admin.

I would ask what's the latest I can sign up, but I guess it's simply a case of when the places are gone they're gone?
Really keen to get the Corvette on to a noisy track day, but unless it's guaranteed to be dry, my tyres make it pointless even turning up.
I guess I'll keep an eye on things nearer the time.
