Following on from our sell-out track evening at Snetterton in May, we’ll be back out at Brands Hatch on Tuesday August 2nd in collaboration with our friends at MSVT.

Join us for an open pit lane evening for just £139. It’s a general car track evening, so it’s open to drivers of any track experience and a mix of road, track and race cars.

We’ll be using the 1.2-mile Indy circuit, with track time running from 17:30 – 20:00. Noise limits for the evening are 102 dB static and 90 dB drive-by.

Whether you're a seasoned local or someone looking to get out on track for the first time, track evenings are a great opportunity to get some circuit time without committing to a whole day with a relaxed atmosphere.

Every driver taking part will get some free PH goodies too, so head over to MSVT to book your space now. See you there!

Excellent! If you haven't been on track before, it's worth giving our track day guide a read here. Any questions, ask away!

Cheers Ben. I’ve read that a guide a few times times as well as a few others, and some circuit guides so I am hoping to be as prepared as I can.

Quick question - what’s the deal with garages and what time we can arrive? I was hoping to get in a bit early so I have somewhere to stick a box with things like tools, oil, etc. but there is a track day on earlier so presumably there is both a limit to how early we can arrive, and also the garages will all be occupied?

Excellent! You can arrive any time you like really, although sign on won't start until 15:30. Garages will be free on a first come first served basis but as you say, you'll need to wait until someone has left for the day before you can nab one. I would have thought some might start to free up from 16:00 onwards.

I'd thoroughly recommend booking an instructor session as well – they sell out quickly and it'll be invaluable for your first time out on track.

Ben,

Is it ok to arrive just before 4.30 and do the sign on after the briefing? I'll be tight on time I expect.

Thank you.

The briefing is all online now so you can do it 24 hours before you arrive. It's confusing that it's in the itinerary, but unless you're a novice and specifically ask for it on the day, you should be able to rock up and sign on, then head out for sighting laps. Unless they change this, but I've not heard that's going to happen.

Great, cheers.

Are instructor sessions only bookable on the day? I've not seen a link to book them.

They're an optional extra when you book the session on MSVT's website. If you've already booked, worth giving them a call and seeing if you can add one and try and secure one of the first slots.

It was a really good evening. I throughly enjoyed myself. I think it was the best marshalled track day I've ever been on, which definitely helped.

Our first track evening of 2023 has been released for Brands Hatch on 11 April, currently discounted at £125 (instead of £139) for the early birds that want to treat themselves to an early Christmas present... biggrin Official launch will follow in the new year.
