So far I have done:

Abingdon - great for beginners - bit boring after not too long
Brands Hatch - awesome - scary hill -= quite short, felt slow in my 182
Bedford - I love this place - my favourite - will keep going back

What should I do next?? Happy to travel

Anglesey
Oulton Park
Donnington

Anglesey is my favourite track.

Oulton is perfect for a 182.

All the others in the UK, they all have something to offer.

+1

Caldwell has to be the winner though, shirley?
All MSV (incl Bedford!!) have great challenges and would be my preference over the others, Combe, thruxton.

Cliche, but The Ring has to be done too. So different to any other road/track experience.
My Spa cherry remains intact sadly. I know that’s an omission on my part.

Yeah laugh Cadwell, Donington and Thruxton are my favourites but all the others are good too. Not been to Knockhill to my shame!

Donington for sure. I've enjoyed it in all speeds of car.

Brands Hatch GP is easily the most thrilling track I've driven in the UK. Expensive, but worth it at least once.

Cadwell is bound to be worth the trip (haven't been yet).

I'm not a fan of Bedford. Too many slow corners and hard on brakes for most road cars.

It’s hilarious on a Palmersport day wink driving cars that aren’t yours egged on by instructors who like a laugh.

Cadwell is 100% the best track in the uk if you have under 300bhp on tap, or even if you have more.

Oulton is good.

Croft is good.

Cadwell is quite simply on a different level though.

Fair point. I’ve always done it in either my own lightweight or a Palmer car. Took my Evora for a run out there and didn’t like putting so much strain on MY car braking and cornering. Took it to Goodwood and it flowed much more pleasurably.

Still think Bedford offers a great variety of interesting corners though. Looking forward to first trip in the Caterham there in July. I think it will excel there.

I remember one of my mates spinning his Evo 8 on Craner Curves and ending up on the grass. Luckily he didn't hit anything though.

I'd love to go to Oulton, and I'm definitely a fan of Cadwell/Donington too. I've never driven on a track, but I thoroughly enjoyed being sat alongside Nick(nickfrog) at Cadwell though. I've always enjoyed Donington and Castle Combe from a spectator point of view over the years.

I find Silverstone absolutely rubbish if you are a spectator though, and I watched the F1 there back in 2016(I also go to quite a few car shows there as well).

Thruxton is super under rated in my opinion. Super fast and being on the limit over Church corner is bonkers, it scares a lot of people so if you're committed you can chase down some pretty meaty machinery which is always fun.

Zolder, its the business and belgian rules.

Book it through skylimit or RMA

Or another vote for Cadwell or snetterton

What he said - apart from misspelling Donington wink. I'd also add in Cadwell.

The main feature common to all 4 of those circuits is the contours, they're all in undulating countryside and all the more interesting for it. Most of the rest in the UK are old airfield circuits and pretty flat.

Anglesey and Donington are fairly wide and have quite a bit of run off, Oulton and Cadwell not so much and you need to make sure you don't get too ambitious.

A few years back I did a run of track days which went Spa, Donington and then a semi wet Cadwell day. Used to love Cadwell but the big wide open spaces of spa and Donington ruined it for me and I was convinced I was going to crash.

I didn’t but it helped by clinging onto the tails of some expertly driven Clio 182’s

Is that a joke?

Short circuit and the biggest free for all. Overtaking both sides and on corners!

Cadwell must be the best in England. Beautiful countryside, undulating and challenging.

Combe for me is very good for an ex airfield track.

Brands Indy is surprisingly good for a shortish circuit.

Snetterton is good for powerful cars. Have done so many there with a group of pals in TVR's over the years, makes it more entertaining.
