Burlesque Venue London?
Discussion
My wife and I both turn 50 this year. My wife loves Burlesque (I agree it has it's good points). I am looking to book an evening of dinner and burlesque for us and a few friends.
We have been to a few places in London previously, Proud and Cafe de Paris. But we haven't been for years now. I was planning to book a table for dinner and the show at Cafe de Paris, only to find it closed down during the pandemic. Her birthday is in August and I so I need to book something soon.
In my opinion Cafe de Paris, was a lot better than Proud cabaret. So, I am now looking for another venue and just wondered if anyone had had any experiences / recommendations?
Many thanks
Andy

So - not burlesque... And not been there... So this could be a non-starter BUT as no-one has put anything forward yet I walked past the Windmill in Soho at the weekend and was surprised (in a good way) at the menu they had posted outside.
It used to be a strip joint but upon Googling when I got home it looks like it got refitted and launched as a cabaret type place with a nice looking menu end of last year: https://thewindmillsoho.com/
Google reviews seem ok too!

This is about as good as it gets but you’d have to eat elsewhere

Sorry I can't help you in your search, but it is funny seeing this today in reference to burlesque, as I was watching the show "Curb Your Enthusiasm" last night and in the episode, one of Larry's friends is dating a burlesque dancer. Very funny episode and recommend it.We have been to a few places in London previously, Proud and Cafe de Paris. But we haven't been for years now.
