Will either of you instructors be at Goodwood on the 3rd March? And be willing to show me the quickest way round the circuit? Dr C

"I usually ask people how many times it took them to pass their driving test" 3rd time. "How much of a challenge are you?" A bit. A track day virgin, please be gentle.

oi! I remember going on a track day with a bunch of TVR's at Cadwell with my Elise which was de-kated and got a lot a apprciation, espcially for it's handeling (if you've been to cadwell you know what I mean). If an elise is driven properly on a tight track it's pretty good at keeping up with most TVRs. Anyway I now have a Fire breathing, poping and banging Exige, which is world's ahead of an Elise, in terms of acceleration etc, so it should give you TVR guys a very good run for your money. Ted - I would like to come on a track day - depending on where it is of course. Guy

I've heard a well driven Elise 111s/160 isn't too far off an Exige. Certainly, I gave one a bloody good run for it's money in my 111s a few weeks ago, the Griffith is also far quicker, although doesn't handle anywhere near as well.

Might be at goodwood - haven't been asked yet! But should the Race speed 340R be there I'll let it be known that I am avaliable. Strange how no one seems to want to say how many times it took them to pass their drivers test! Umm yes 3rd time! I'm a 1st time pass girl myself!

Right so there you have it PH track day on France on May 12/13th. So a few quick questions... I assume we have exclusive use of the Folembray track and, has anyone been there if so whats it like? Also where is the hotel, I presume near Reims judging from the schedule? Sounds fun though so I'll discuss iot with the guv'nor! Regards Rich...

The track is cut into a forest hillside, no noise restrictions Also where is the hotel, I presume near Reims judging from the schedule? Sounds fun though so I'll discuss it with the guv'nor! The Hotel is North of Reims about 20-25mins from the track. See you there
