What's a good lap time at Spa?

There are couple more track days at Spa this month before season comes to an end. I might be going end of this month.
Quite pleased with my last visit there about a couple of weeks ago. Did a 2:38 despite fluffing a gear. Not bad for only my second time there with the car. Still more time left on the table. Maybe 2:35 at push....

I was there back in April in the Elise I'd just purchased for all of 5-10 laps before it broke.
In that time I was just getting used to the car, taking it easy with lots of traffic, but I managed 2:50 with a theoretical of 2:39. I can't wait to see what it does when I get back there

Cool. 2:50 in an Elise! what kind of an Elise do you have? Do you have a video of that? Love to see it. Not sure where you would get the theoretical 2:39 from unless you have a very good datalogger/video setup to suggest that. Impressive as I don't know of any street 991 GT3RS doing under 2:40 at Spa so a 2:39 for an Elise would have to be one hell of a boosted Elise to achieve that!I was there back in April in the Elise I'd just purchased for all of 5-10 laps before it broke.

Just found this thread from a google search, lots of impressive times and videos.
This was from my first visit to Spa last year, managed a 2:49 in my e46 M3 on Trofeo Rs.

and another chasing a Radical round

Just a small note on the above. A stock street GT3RS 991 with a good driver can lap below 2.40. As you can see in the video below, which is a 2.40.2 on not fully ideal conditions.

But of course i have to agree that a 2.39 is quite optimistic for an Elise, except if its a swapped one or with huge mods in the power plant.

Nice, clean driving mate and the lap time reflects that. This was from my first visit to Spa last year, managed a 2:49 in my e46 M3 on Trofeo Rs.

That is one season ago, back when i had my Honda S2000 (swapped to a K-series engine) running 240hp.
Time: 2.54.8 with room for improvement and a few minor bad timing moments which cost some tenths.

I just saw this, could have met up with you as i visited the track these couple of days.
How was your first visit on this track!?
It was great, really enjoyed it. Found it very slippy most of the time. Only had an hour or so of really dry time on the first day so I wasn't pushing hard. The second day I spent most of the time sliding round corners getting to grips with the car in the wet as I've not had a chance in the UK really. I loved how the marshalls weren't bothered about getting the back end out at every opportunity! How was your first visit on this track!?
I did however forget to put the SD card in my Vbox for both days, idiot.
A lap and a half from Spa earlier this year in a 996 GT3 Clubsport.
The first was a 2:48.1, the second was on par for 2:47 except the session was redflagged when on the back straight...!
