Nope, left to start my own company. Not in competition with them before you ask!

They I completely understand why they wanted their investment back... they loaned you money so that they could benefit as well as you and you negated on the deal and the only person who benefited was you at their loss.

Of course! I said I was hoping I wouldn't have to, not that I was surprised! They actually gave me a decent discount on what was effectively an interest free loan by paying back a lump rather than piecemeal.
