Bicycle theft - company premises
Discussion
Had my bicycle stolen on Friday from a secured car park within a company owned secured shed. Just had a look around and there are no notices of liability although a few about the CCTV which is there. Would anyone know if they are liable for the theft please?
For me, it was relatively expensive and i use it for commuting as well as for social, when i have the time.
Thank you for your responses.

The company will be liable if (1) you could prove that the theft was facilitated by the negligence of one or more of the company's officers, employees or agents, and (2) the company has not effectively excluded liability for negligence.
Did the company take reasonable care to prevent theft? If yes, it is not liable. Was it negligent in this case? I cannot say - insufficient details provided.

Broke into the secured cage using an angle grinder and then cut through the locks. They also sprayed the cameras.
