Nicholas Parsons RIP

Oh that is a shame.
He was perfect on Just a Minute.
I remember seeing him on a comedy ketch show (of which the name escapes me) where he was a judge on a spoof talent section.
In the same vein as the Ali G interviews, the act was a setup. It was a bloke playing the drums & singing "My old man, said be an Arsenal fan..."
Not sure if Nicholas was in on it, but his face after the third line was a picture.

He always amazed me on JAM. His mind and wit were still razor sharp. Great entertainer and a good innings.

I am sure that, as in his role in the Mr Jolly film, he could play along extremely well at being the straight, "Mr Confused and Offended" type beautifully. He was perfect on Just a Minute.
