It dawned on me this morning that I always put my right sock on before my left, but bizarrely put my left shoe on before my right. It's not an OCD thing, but if I deliberately try to put my right shoe on first it feels odd. Bit weird.

I recently noticed I always say 'that's better' when I get out of the shower.

I always put my socks on before my trousers but I realised that years ago.

I do left sock then right, then left shoe then right - always. If I have socks that has the logo on the outside on both socks and find I picked up one which has a logo on the inside as I go to put it on my left foot, I have to change the sock over rather than just put it on my right foot laugh

Similarly, I put both socks on, but to put a sock and then a shoe on, leaving a foot with no sock or shoe would be totally wrong.

Do people/can people really do that? Having a sock and shoe on leaving one foot bare? Wrong 'uns if they do. frown

This. I did once put my right sock on first and actually took it off and started again nutsboxedin

Today I realised, that there are a lot of strange people on PH.... laugh

I probably do similar with socks etc, but I've never given it any though....

Wait, does that make me the strange one?

hehe

I realised that I park my tongue on the roof of my mouth when I'm not using it and that you are probably now more aware of your tongue than you were a few moments ago.

I too do this. Left sock first, then right. Left leg in trousers/jeans then right. Left shoe on first. If I do it the other way around, I feel ‘twisted’. I thought it was just me. Maybe I’m ‘left footed’. I’ve noticed I always use my left foot first when going up or down stairs. May be why my left knee is now knackered.

Right handed, right footed if playing sport like football except if jumping, I have to jump off my left.

But agree, I actually struggle with putting my right sock on first, its really difficult! Muscle memory or something!

I learned that the corona virus isn’t one new kind of virus but a generic name for a group of viruses which includes SARS etc and the causes of the common cold.

The virus on the news is Novel coronavirus or 2019-nCoV

Today I realised that I spend far too much time posting on daft internet forums, and not enough time doing stuff that is actually useful...

I only ever sneeze in odd numbers. If I sneeze twice I know that there is at least another one coming. If I sneeze twice more I know that there is at least another one coming. Always.
I'm left handed although probably irrelevant?

Also, Republicans are prepared to lie to keep their seats. Makes China look like a democracy.

I actually discovered that the worlds leading democracy has the most undemocratic process in the world for removing its leader laugh

Haha, I'm exactly the same, you're right it does feel weird.
I'm now starting to do things with the other hand, foot, whatever, just to get that weird feeling.
I'm running out of things to try!biggrin
