Evening,

I was hoping to get some career advice. My current role mainly involves handling customer issues relating to products and supply and building/maintaing a good relationship with the technical, quality and procurement teams. It's fairly niche, being in the pharma industry, but it's taken me away from the industry where I had my previous experience.

In this time I've stopped being current in project & people management so need to try and find a way to progress.

As such I was thinking of going down the supplier Relationship Management route and I was wondering if there were any recognised qualifications like PRINCE2 or PMP.

Looking around and it's hard to see what's good & what's just training companies flogging a worthless certificate.

Thanks!

Wingo

This Professional organisation might be worth a look, Chartered institute of purchasing and supply.

Sorry for being a bit late; CIPS. Is the go to qualification in our industry however experience is more important...

I have been in Supply chain and procurement for almost 20 years as much as I wish CIPS provided value, personally I think its been devalued.
Nothing replaces experience but recognise that people need to start somewhere.
