I haven't ordered anything from Amazon for a week.

The credit card bill arrived last week.

These facts may be related.

I've been working from home for several years now. I think the main thing is I no longer shave daily - I could easily go 3-5 days without a shave if I wasn't meeting clients etc Same applies now but between video conference calls....

I worked at home a lot in previous roles so the same bad habits as then really...

Too much booze (although mainly at home rather than the local as would previously have been the case)
"Leisurewear"
Often working too many hours and not often enough abusing the skiving opportunities available.

I feel emasculated!! hehe

In defence of my 167 ....

1) We've got Prime, so delivery is 'free'

2) I was/am on the Covid shielding list, so anything that I would normally go to the local shops for, came from Amazon

3) Our 5yo son's school was absolutely crap for learning materials when the schools were closed, my missus went a bit mental on being the best home-schooling mum she could be, so there was constantly some new Phonics book or other rolling up. I just kept my head down and pretended I was working hard whilst surfing PH upstairs and pretending to be on yet another arduous Skype call! hehe

4) I got into lockdown vinyl in a big way!

One bad habit I'm not going to get into is the theory that if you are in meetings/calls all day you are working. It pisses me off when these professional meeting attendees stretch a meeting which could have been cut to half an hour to the full hour so they can go straight onto their next and never actually do any fking work tts.

I have a settee in my home office. I often take a lie down (with the camera off) when on boring stretched out calls that I don't really need to be on. smile

Not sure if it's a bad thing or not, but if not in a meeting I now stop everyday at 10:30 and play PopMaster on Radio 2.

You've described most of the traditionally office based working population.

Funnily enough I have a daily call 10-10:30am. I must get onto this!

"sorry, got to run to my next call!" hehe
