I think your link is wrong and you mean this one.

It was bought for far, far less by that trader a while ago and was discussed on here. smile

The suspected Jap import is still in the PH classifieds as well. I was sure this would sell even as it stands, but clearly I was wrong! Yes it needs a few things sorting (wheels stick on tat) Has anybody from that part of the world viewed it?

I think doing nights had clearly got to me! smile

There was a thread on the UK E30 M3 FaceBook page in relation to replicas, and their values, after someone posted a 'wanted' ad for a genuine car but only had a budget of £25k the other day. How much do you guys think the price is for a decent car now?

Personally I have only seen 1 replica where it was all steel, including the C pillar, plus they had tried to replicate all the correct spot welds etc. All the suspension, brakes etc were genuine and it had been fitted with an S62 engine and manual box. Despite being a replica it was a very nice car indeed. Sadly the owner broke it up. (No idea why) I think it would be worth decent money now, with genuine cars costing so much.

I know this car needs a bit of love and to lose the mods but am still surprised it hasn't sold. Especially as a bare shell sold for £25k recently. Has anyone seen it in person?

Anyone looking for a project?

There's a silver UK car available. Needs relatively light resto. £35k but offers invited. I can get more detail if anyone is interested?

That has been clocked. Look how worn the interior is and the damaged rear door card.

I've never quite got the whole 'M3 cabriolet' thing anyway. It just seems odd that you would take a car like the E30 M3 and then compromise it by chopping the roof off.

This looks lovely. I'd put some less bling wheels on myself but the blue paint looks great.

Door cards with holes in laugh
6 Button Trip?
No sunroof?
No radio? Can't see any speaker grilles either.
Double screenwash bottles But no headlight washers?
£22K for an engine? Seems a bit steep
And that colour. We all know that Santorini wasn't a colour they offered in 1988.

An original non-sunroof shell would be a good thing for me.
JC Racing do some good work, I'm up there next week so I'll ask what was done.

This car has had a full nut and bolt restore, full bare metal respray, meaning all parts have been replaced with new from BMW, including dash, seats, carpets all plastics, rubbers, wishbones etc....
New seats and carpet? I thought they went NLA a while ago?

It seems from what I can see they seem to have forgotten quite a few parts.

Not worth £45k, probably not even £35k in that colour.

I like the colour myself but know I'll be in the minority. biggrin

This silver project car sold for £35k yesterday (partially stripped) and similar white one about an hour later, for same money.

Wow...35k for a restoration project!!!. Were they sold by word of mouth?

Partially stripped?? Were any M3 specific components missing?

Both sold on Facebook within a couple of hours. Details are few but both had the usual E30 rust but were pretty complete I think. Just a bit tired. I saw a pic showing the rear screen had been removed on the silver one and the interior was out.

My biggest motoring regret is not buying one of these when £12k got you a good one. frown

I was offered a gorgeous early car, in my ideal spec with cloth, no sunroof, keep fit windows etc for £5 200! I was only 22 though and £520 would have been a stretch.

POA = If you have to ask, you can't afford it!!

Anyone care to guess what the asking price of this is. Looks lovely but it's not going to be cheap.

I have no idea....but considering Evo II's have now broken the £100K barrier, £90K for that would not surprise me.
