My dealer is honouring the 5 year service pack at the original price. On a side note can you get Apple car play at a later date or does it have to be co figured from new ?

I can see AirPlay as a purchase option in the iDrive, I don't know how it's enabled as I haven't gone through the menus to complete the purchase but it's definitely there so I guess that means it can be added at any time.

Yup, i think that's the case, but don't you have to have enhanced bluetooth as a pre-requisite?

Possibly. I have enhanced BT so maybe that is why I can see the AirPlay option

I ordered mine (including the 5 year service pack for £800) in November 2016 and it was registered and picked up last Saturday. BMW would not honour the service pack for cars registered after 31st December 2016 so I've had to settle for the 3 year/36K miles at £999, not impressed with BMW for this!!
As you will only get two services you dropped the ball and been ripped off.
Interesting, how exactly did I drop the ball when BMW small print States must be registered before 1/1/17??

Servicing every two years for most, unless high mileage use. I am only assuming you are a normal user, I sold my M3 LCI 2015, as my mileage went up even with the service pack I thought "high miles low RV".
The three year packs are a joke.

That's a very general assumption, which you've obviously based on your own driving, everyone is different. The three year packs are not a joke if you are doing the mileage and especially if you've been offered the pack at £800.

It's my wifes everyday run around car so should clock up 36K miles in 3 years no problems, so still quids in despite my ineptitude at 'dropping the ball' biggrin

Likewise, the M2 will be my wife's daily driver so I do think she'll rack up the miles and that's why I'm probably going to go for the 3 year pack which I can get for £800 from my dealer.

If anyone is after a build slot for an M2 for March delivery DM me.

Currently in LBB, but may still be spec-amendable.

Cheers,

Chris CC

Does anybody have any thoughts on how long the waiting list is for a new M2 at the moment? I am presuming we are not seeing any discounts being offered yet?

Currently paying list but some waits are much shorter than predicted. Many dealers with few slots.
You will love the car!

Doesn't that depend how much the services are ?
It's doesn't cost £1000 for 2 services on any M car.

My last 2 services have totalled £560

i was a dealers yesterday looking at a 118d for the wife and was admiring the new m2 parked outside, dealer said if you ordered one now it would be around the end of 2018 before you got it. wasnt a serious enquiry so maybe able to get slightly better if you were really buying one but the wait is obviously long.

It seems to vary a lot per dealer but you can definitely get one sooner than that. I put a deposit down end of November and i'm taking delivery end of this month.

I put a deposit down at the end of November and the car was delivered to the dealers (to my spec) at the end of December, about 5 weeks from start to finish smile
