Hi guys, just wanted to say hello.

My E63 AMG lease is going back at Christmas, so after much head scratching and phone calling and man-maths calculating I ended up ordering something I never considered until it hit me on the nose!

An M6 Gran Coupe LCI - Blimey! In San Marino blue with aragon brown full leather (kind of tan). Wacky colours, but no worries about resale with a lease wink

It'll be good to be back in a BM again, missed one since the 450bhp tuned 335i tourer went in 2013.

Daft lease deal sealed it for me. I was considering a used GTR, but the M6 new lease was way less than I could finance a 60K GTR for. It was even £50/m less than the best M3 lease i could find. And the modding bug on a GTR would raise the "real" cost sky high.

Main plus was it didn't need any options, unlike the M5 which doesn't even come with 20" wheels FFS! Options on a lease can kill it, and they made the M5 lease more than the M6, despite a £25 list gap.

Can't wait!! I'll be getting the BMS Stage 1 tune plugged in pretty sharpish too... Whoever said 560bhp was enough? wink

Sounds like an incredible deal and you have me very tempted to look into this also... Would you mind sharing the details of the lease deal you were able to achieve, either on here or through PM, please?

Sounds nice.

As above, deal details please as thinking about an M6GC to replace my F10 M5 come the end of my current lease.

If this M6GC lease deal is close to my M5 lease then I may have to know more as the M5 is going back to BMW in a week and my current replacement is not filling me with much excitement although it is not to dissimilar to a M^GC all be it with the wrong type of fuel.

http://www.contracthireandleasing.com/car-leasing-... Maybe? £700+ Vat though.

I'm interested too....can see cheapish M5s but not an M6 GC. I have a soft spot for the GC.

Not a lease but interesting to see a 40k miler 13reg at about £45k on autotrader - cheapest m6 gc I've seen so far - is that indicative of a trade-in value in the low 40's?

£40k at a guess. The GFV on BM finance offers page after 3 years is only £27k.

This a car I wouldn't want to buy without some form of protection on its end value

Sorry chaps, been busy!

The basic car deal was £680 inc VAT on 9+35 from EWFS in Edinburgh. That includes 3 years road tax, a full tank and even £150 expenses to travel to Edinburgh to collect it! Make a nice day out of it.

The M6 Coupes were going for £650 inc VAT, but I wanted the 4 door as this still needs to be a family car (only one daughter 7 though). Oddly, Peter Vardy in Edinburgh were also offering Coupes at £650, but they couldn't quite match EWFS for the GC.

Seems like these two places in Edinburgh offer consistently the best lease deals on M's. I'd been wathcing EWFS deals sine 2013.

Mainly I'd been eyeing up M5s at around £550-600inc VAT, but the M5 needs 20" wheels, a decent hifi, M seats etc, you're looking at another £100/m just for those.

So the M6, being a whole step up build wise (and looks wise for me) anyway and comes with everything. Even split fold rear seats as standard! Also standard, 20" wheels (two types inc M5 343M type if you want) FULL merino leather (£5K on M5), carbon fibre trim, alcantara headlining, harmon kardon hifi, full LED adaptive headlights, the list goes on.....

Considering I was paying £800/m for a 335i on PCP in 2009

£600/m for a 330i PCP in 2006.

and way back.... £500/m on (3)loans to buy Sapphire Cosworth in 1996!

I seen that too. Have seen 3 or 4 cars around 52k with 10k miles on them so trade in prices must be low.
I think they are send to drop again and we stabalize at around 40k mark. the M5's are dropping quite a bit too.

Brokers are / have been for a while, discounting M6GC by 25K to £72K new before negotiation, so that is the "real" list price, not 97K.

Thus sept 15 delivery miles cars up for £72K at BMW. http://usedcars.bmw.co.uk/M/4.4/Sheffield/3744876-...

Dealers trying for high 50's on a 2yo 2013 car are taking the P##s when you can get a new one for 72, or less.... more like £40K for a 2yo one.

Or lease a new one for less than they'll PCP you a 330d.

I enquired about that car as I thought it was cheap. Over 3 years and 8000 miles p.a. on a PCP it came out at £1700 per month. GFV of £27k. I've no idea how they're going to sell that car when you can lease a new one for half the money.

Good work. You won't regret it. The colour scheme sounds amazing, I assume the brown interior is a cost option?

I picked my GC up last week after two years in an M5. Loved the M5 to bits but the GC takes it to another level. The interior alone is worth the extra £25k, not very PH I know but it really makes the car feel more special.

Peter Vardy in Edinburgh were excellent and I really can't think of anything else I would rather be driving.
