Rather annoyed that mine is 10bhp down on power because of the stupid restrictions they placed on it. Oh well. Bloody yanks.
Yea, 333bhp wouldn't pull the skin off of custard. hehe
I know! hehe

And a bit off topic but this is the journey back I had - there were only 40 odd for sale in all of yank land.

I've edited the BHP I put, I always assumed 343, same as M3, but I'm being told 5bhp less than the M3. So, I'm either quoting American figures (338BHP) and gained you 5, or quoting UK figures and lost me 5!

Lovely looking afternoon drive. Hope you ticked the "avoid motorways" option! (or rather highways!)

Retrimmed interior looks decent on that.

Someone got spendy with the options list, I believe, rather than a retrim.

Very interesting. I never knew the two tone was an option. Is that extended leather? I always wished mine had that. Probably just for the leather covered windscreen pillar.

Yep, extended leather.

It was my wife's car, she was very fussy about the interior, and I think that sold this particular car to her.

My baby over in Switzerland, a little dirty after driving it over the day before.

Car looks great Op,
I nearly bought this actual car myself earlier last year off Mike, lovely condition and drove superbly.
I ended up with an M3 instead.
Enjoy it, nice to see it being used as it shouldthumbup

Cheers! I will say that Mike had prepared it very well, hiding a few flaws. I guess that's to be expected though! It also hadn't had the all important valve adjustment at the recent Inspection II service, but I knew that when I bought it and they all checked out (had it done at a local BMW specialist a couple of days after I'd gotten it home).

Since then I've done a little over 9,000 miles, including a trip to visit friends in Vodice (Croatia) where that photo came from.

It's looked after by Darren and his team over in Stockport; as well as fluids and general routine servicing it's recently had a brand new roof motor fitted after the old one packed up (known fault).

A very fun car, lives in the garage on a CTEK MXS 5.0 battery charger but gets well used for its intended purpose smile

That looks a lot like my old M - number plate ending in HBY?

I always wondered what happened to it after I sold it on. Good to see it looking healthy!

Where was this photo taken? Do you know/meet the owner of the Z8?

Actually, just seen Grimbergen on the canopy! My old man had his Z8 in that spec down in S. France for a few years up until recently and as a long shot thought it might be the same car. It pops up every now and then.

Been asked to post in here.

I have just recently acquired my Z4MR. It's a '07 in Carbon Black with black leather interior.

Car is now based in Oxford

Only got the dealers photo of it, as the weather has been pretty shocking since I collected it last Sat.

Will post some better pics of my own when we get a clear day next.
