Anybody know of a BMW garage that has a new blue M2 sitting in the showroom?

Thanks!

Barons in Bishops Stortford have one as a cancelled order but it is pre-registered on a 17 plate.

Ask for Matin, his number is 07769 354406.

Doncaster have a bargain at the moment.

£47k for a delivery miles white M2 with lots of stuff.

Came very close to buying it, but went loaded 440i instead.

I've been looking around for a used mineral grey M2, with DCT and lumber support-
this has not proved easy- I figure mineral grey is not a popular choice......

BMW Inverness had one in the last couple of weeks. Don't know if it's still there. Defo DCT and Colour. Think it had lumbar too but wouldn't swear to it.

Barons in Bishops Stortford still have the LBB M2 and a sapphire black M2 both as cancelled orders, both DCT. The LBB M2 is registered and prior to the April tax hike and the black M2 is unregistered.

I've got one, 800 miles, 1 month old, that I may well be willing to let go.

I'm not sure why I bought it, I have an R8 already, and get the tube to work. I'm in London.

Long Beach Blue seems to be the default choice although it's not to my taste (too turquoise for me I'm afraid!). If I was ordering I think I'd also go for Mineral Grey but you're right, not many around and finding a used one that's also had lumbar support fitted (why isn't that standard on a car costing over £40k?) could be challenge; good luck with the search though!

The main issue I've found with used M2's are the silly asking prices.
How on earth can prospective buyers be expected to pay list price
for a secondhand M2 when you can still buy a new one no problem?
I called a local BMW dealership and was told 8 to 12 wk delivery to my spec.

Will the current values be effected when the LCI is released later this year? I reckon they will release a competition pack with them as well.

Seems to be quite a broad spread of prices on AUC for 3 month old cars.

There also seems to be a lot of cars for sale.

Makes you wonder how much longer they will stay above £40k.

On BMW AUC there are 40 M2's for sale and the price of the cars is obviously highly dependent on spec.

If people don't want to pay near list or above in some cases for an AUC M2, buy a new one and stop harping on about M2 prices or buy an AUC M3 or M4 that's already taken a good chunk of depreciation as the majority of new M3's and M4's sold were heavily discounted anyway.

Believe it or not there are some of us who have bought an M2 to enjoy it and not keep thinking am I loosing money on it....who gives a hoot whether you loose or not, just enjoy the car.

Spot on.

I did 1k miles in the first two weeks of picking it up. No regrets.

As has already been suggested, with a bit of digging you can find stock cars or get the waiting time down to about 12 weeks. Problem is, there's still little hope for a discount and that's why the used car / delivery mile market has been ticking over nicely, and will continue to do so.

The difficulty is finding one that is well priced, although can be done. Earlier this week for example I was offered one by someone who's circumstances have changed - manual, just delivered, no miles, huge spec etc etc and could be mine for £45k. I'm not in a position to commit to it, but seems a stonking deal when compared to what's available on the open market!

I had my car to the dealer yesterday for some service work. They were preparing for a Sale event this weekend and had a new unregistered white M2 in the showroom. When I collected my car yesterday evening, the M2 had a Sale event sticker on the windscreen, although the price reduction hadn't yet been written on it.
I spoke with a salesman about it and he stated that there would be nothing more than a token discount up to a max. of £500.
