Indeed 560hp is not to be trifled with, the F10 is ballistic from 80mph-140mph stupidly fast, at those speeds power counts not pwr/weight.

Fastlaps make that clear. The Cerb 4,5 is faster to 60mph but by 80mph is trailing the M5.

Outright numbers 80-150mph
M5 10.7seconds
F40 7.3 seconds
E63 S only have the time for 80-120 but that is 5.7seconds (M5 5.3 seconds).

911 Turbo S 80-120mph is 8.3 seconds.

F10 M5 is certainly very fast.

Wasn't the C6 RS6 quoted as 572bhp actually 611bhp. Audi playing games to ensure it didn't eclipse its halo Lambo brand.

V a 535d interior wise are they that different?

I mean clearly lovely extended leather would set it way above but as the interior is so nice as is is the step up noticeable?
Do M5's come with air cooled seats?

I am with you on this one. In some ways I would like to be proved wrong and will then have to eat a lot of humble pie! If Manchesterman is a fantasist then he has lasted longer than most. Time will tell.

Different shaped drivers seats with better leather, different gear levers different dash dials and the HUD is slightly different (shows gears and revs). Sat Nav etc. is all the same.

Other than that it's essentially the same but..............it feels a whole lot better with all that BHP under your right foot yes

My old one had the carbon interior trim, individual leather and multi-function seats that raised it above the standard cars, the leather was so soft and waxy and the seats were incredible.

I really miss that interior and the power of that car it was imperious, my F80 interior feels like an empty room in comparison.

No way, I miss the M5 but that was a one shot deal won't be getting one again, cost too much when you do 35k a year.

I had my f10 m5 for 2 years and 20k odd miles!
Great car as has been mentioned , supremely comfortable, and very quick especially once you're beyond 60. Too often found myself well into triple figures (on a private road of course). The pull away from a motor service station was a particular favourite of mine up to the posted speed limit obviously.

I did dabble with getting another but the new one is imminently released and I m interested with the 4 wheel drive .

Fantastic Second hand buy though, as with all M cars the arse falls out residual wise .

Chuffed for you! Enjoy in good health!

Could you not do a 2 car garage?
Fiesta/focus sort of car plus M5.

I've heard MPg is very reasonable tyres last a good while and if you buy the 5 yr service pack then it's a great option. What was burning higher costs for you?

M5 is daily driver (an expensive one mind) but not a weekend car to me, better to have a golf + 911 if you want a two car garage.

Have you heard it's all very reasonable? Well fill your boots and get one then, mine cost £36k over the 12 months I ran one for over 31,000 miles.

MPG is reasonable for what it is - but even as a long distance / high mileage driver I still only average 20-21mpg. Sure you might get close to 30mpg on a very sedate motorway run but it only takes a bit of brisk driving down the last 20 miles of A road and you're back down towards 20mpg.

I've done 65k in mine over 28 months and that has cost me at least £20k in fuel alone... then another £10k in tyres, servicing, brakes and insurance... add depreciation and it's easily cost £1/mile

I'd guess that if I'd bought a new 535d at the discounts they were running at back in 2015, and put similar mileage on it most of those costs would be about half.

I feel compelled to call you out now. The only negative person here is you. Why? You got nothing better to do than follow random threads and be negative? I find your comment/analysis hilarious. I will break it down for you pal.

What is your point or what are you trying to achieve?

Why waste your time to post on a thread where clearly you have nothing meaningful to add?

Hmmmm.....

Obviously there are some issues... would you like to tackle them head on or keep making assumptions and posting random comments?

What's with the little digs?

I am not interested in you eating humble pie... nor am I interested in proving you wrong.... Simple truth is either add something interesting to the thread or 'jog on!' Like the meercat says in the ad 'simples'

Sick of reading comments like above in threads where people criticise others for no rhyme or reason. Educate not hate!!

You don't believe me? Who cares?

I applaud you for getting on my nerves but I wanted to give you a piece of my mind.

I would like to end it on, let's not criticise or make random comments but engage in positive dialogue.

Lets see what happens? Can you rise above it and be a man or will you put in another random post trying to be a smart ar*se!!

Just enjoy your car, some are jealous of your acquisition it would seem.
